sorry, not just my flight to get here was delayed… i know. should have posted some updates here earlier. actually the deferment just put me into the right mood for my forthcoming stay in argentina.
just one week has passed and i already feel like i’ve been here for month… so many things to do and to see, people to meet, places to go; and on the other hand just three weeks left. every day is like a book you read, and if you are tired at the end of the day/night and hit the sack you can’t wait to open a new book the next day.
i dont know where to begin, so i’ll just tell about the last few hours: yesterday night i droped by the office of my friend as it started raining cats and dogs. literally. i dont know this kind of rain in europe, it’s harder, drops are bigger and denser. streets are flooded within minutes and turn into streams (my flip-flop almost floated away). after two blocks i was drenched to the bones.
back at home a realized there was no power because of a short-circuit, so i lit some candles and took a romantic 2 lux shower. tried to read the last few pages of my soaked book, that was about to fall apart.
just in time to get to my date the rain stopped immediately and made it possible to take the bus downtown.
just when i was enjoying the beautiful dawn on my way back home my taxi got stopped by the police and asked the driver to get out of the car. while they grilled the taxidriver the other cop started a nice chit-chat with me and gave me some tips where to go and what to check out…
today it keeps on raining, that’s why i’m sitting behind my laptop right know. at least it’s cooling down a little bit (28ºC), i just hope it stops til saturday, when we are going to the carneval of gualeguaychu 😉
and by the way, i just uploaded some photos (tho it’s not that easy to take the camera always with me, someone just robbed the guitar of a friend of mine)
no complaints about writing german anymore nor about my broken english!
